The Day surgery
department has 13 beds and is equipped with two operating rooms equipped with state-of-the-art scientific and medical technology. Patients operated in this department must live within easy reach of the clinic, allowing them to travel to the centre within one hour. Admission for surgery
takes place in the morning or early afternoon and the patient is observed carefully after their operation. When conditions are satisfactory, generally after a few hours, the patient is discharged with a family member being entrusted with their care, and given post-operative instructions and the telephone numbers to use in case they need to contact us.
The most frequently treated conditions in this area are ophthalmology, or cataract
microsurgery; surgical procedures, i.e. dermatological surgery, hernia surgery, hand surgery, carpal tunnel surgery; vascular surgery, which comprises laser treatment for varicose veins; rhinological conditions and shoulder and knee joint conditions.
