Computed tomography

Examinations using CAT scanning are fast and use the lowest acceptable radiation dose currently available: the CAT scanner was installed in the 1st Diagnostic Imaging Service at IGEA S.p.A Medical Clinic at Via Senato 69 in Milan.

At this centre we provide computed tomography with the Somatom Definition Flash CAT scanner. The procedure only takes a few seconds and the radiation dose is extremely low compared with all other CAT scanners. For this reason it is the most suitable for examinations on patients who require frequent checks, and for disabled, elderly and overweight patients.

Coronary assessment studies are performed and investigations of the vascular system and all areas of the body may be scanned.

IGEA Medical Clinic at Via Dezza 48, Milan also had acomputed tomography Somaton Emotion scanner installed at our 2nd Diagnostic Imaging Unit in 2015.
