Hospitalization with National Health Service
IGEA Nursing Home is a multi-specialty clinic comprising a Medical Department and a Surgical Department. It welcomes patients in comfortable, environmentally sound, and structurally sound conditions. It provides diagnostic and treatment services , including medical examinations and nursing care, aimed at addressing patients' health concerns.
It guarantees scheduled hospitalization and reservations can only be made by presenting themselves at the Admissions Office after a visit with an internal specialist.
Hospitalization under private practice
Hospitalizations are possible:
- with choice of doctor or dell'healthcare team', with payment by the patient of the freelance fees relating to medical assistance and the costs relating to the stay in paid rooms (insolvency hospitalization).
- paying only the cost of the stay in the paid room (hotel difference).
Insurance Agreements
IGEA Nursing Home, although accredited with the National Health Service , offers the possibility of hospitalization, both in ordinary hospitalization and Day Hospital , on a self-pay basis or in an agreement with the major insurance companies.

Documentation required for hospitalization
The documentation required for patient admission includes:
- identity card valid
- the ATS health card valid
- hospitalization prescription
- eventual medical documentation services
- eventual identification card of the insurance institution (only for hospitalizations under a self-paying regime)
Documentation required to request a copy of the medical record:
- Information for requesting a copy of the medical record
- Request for copy of medical records/health documentation
- Declaration in lieu of affidavit
- Delegation to request for collection of a copy of a medical record or health documentation
- Request for Duplicate Outpatient Services (excluding MAC and BOCA)
Valuables custody
Casa di Cura IGEA is not responsible for the theft or loss of money and valuables.
It is therefore advisable not to wear or keep jewelry, precious objects, large sums of money, or electronic devices.
