The IGEA Nursing Home is a modern multi-specialty clinic comprising a Medical Department and a Surgical Department. It welcomes users in particularly well-maintained environmental, structural and comfort conditions and provides diagnostic and treatment services and performances including medical visits and nursing care aimed at solving the patient's health problems.
It guarantees scheduled hospitalization and reservations can only be made by presenting yourself at the Admissions Office after a visit with an internal specialist.
In Casa di Cura Igea it is possible to carry out hospitalizations:
- with the choice of the doctor or the treating healthcare team, with payment by the patient of the freelance professional fees relating to medical assistance and the costs relating to the stay in paid rooms (self-paying hospitalisation);
- paying only the cost of the stay in the paid room (hotel difference).
Insurance Agreements
The Nursing Home, although accredited with the National Health Service, offers the possibility of hospitalization, both in Ordinary Hospitalization and Day Hospital, under a self-pay regime or in an agreement with the major insurance companies.
The documentation required for patient admission includes:
- valid identity document
- the valid ATS health card
- hospitalization prescription
- any supporting medical documentation
- identification card of the insurance company (only for hospitalisations under a self-paying regime)

- Information for requesting a copy of the medical record
- Request for copy of medical records/health documentation
- Declaration in lieu of affidavit
- Delegation to request for collection of a copy of a medical record or health documentation
- Request for Duplicate Outpatient Services (excluding MAC and BOCA)
Valuables custody
Casa di Cura Igea is not responsible for the theft or loss of money and valuables. It is therefore advisable not to wear or keep jewelry, precious objects, large sums of money or
electronic equipment.
