Rehabilitation Hospitalizations
Hospitalization with National Health Service
The IGEA Nursing Home is a clinic that includes a highly complex Department of Neurorehabilitation Sciences and welcomes patients in particularly attentive environmental, structural, and comfort conditions.
Hospitalization, whether in an ordinary hospitalization ward or in a day hospital , is scheduled at the Admissions Service by presenting the specific " hospitalization request " formulated by the specialist doctor of the healthcare facility from which the patient comes or directly by the general practitioner.
Within 24 hours, this request is evaluated by a Level II Medical Director who, in accordance with the diagnostic-therapeutic-rehabilitative protocols and taking into account the indications provided by the regional resolutions , defines its appropriateness.
The outcome of the request is subsequently communicated by the Admissions Service to the Operating Unit of origin or directly to the patient.
Within the clinic there is a Social Worker who, at the specific request of the Specialist Doctor , takes care of finding suitable accommodation in a social health facility for the patient who is being discharged and is not yet self-sufficient.
The temporary stay in this facility will allow the discharged patient to complete the Rehabilitation Plan for returning home.

Hospitalization under private practice
The following types of hospitalizations can be carried out at the clinic under a self-pay regime :
- with choice of doctor or the 'healthcare team, with payment by the patient of the freelance compensation relating to medical assistance and costs related to staying in paid rooms (insolvency hospitalization)
- paying only the cost of the stay in the paid room (hotel difference)
Insurance Agreements
The IGEA Nursing Home, although accredited with the National Health Service , offers the possibility of hospitalisation, both in ordinary hospitalisation and in day hospital , on a self-pay basis or in an agreed form with the major insurance companies.

Visits by relatives to patients are permitted during the following times:
From Monday to Saturday
17:00 am - 20:00 am
Sunday and Holidays
14:30 am - 20:00 am

Documentation required for hospitalization
The documentation required for patient admission includes:
- identity card valid
- the ATS health card valid
- hospitalization prescription
- eventual medical documentation services
- eventual identification card of the insurance institution (only for hospitalizations under a self-paying regime)
It is important that the person being cared for brings with them the medical documents in their possession:
- radiographs
- laboratory reports and other investigations
- medical reports o medical records of previous hospitalizations (which will be returned upon discharge)

Valuables custody
Casa di Cura IGEA is not responsible for the theft or loss of money and valuables.
It is therefore advisable not to wear or keep jewelry, precious objects, large sums of money, or electronic devices.
