Rehabilitation Hospitalizations
Hospitalization with National Health Service
The IGEA Nursing Home is a clinic comprising the Department of Highly Complex Neurorehabilitation Sciences and welcomes users in particularly well-maintained environmental, structural and comfort conditions.
Il recovery both in Ordinary Hospitalization, which in Day hospital, is scheduled at the Hospitalization Acceptance Service, presenting the appropriate “request for hospitalization” formulated by the Specialized doctor of the healthcare facility from which the patient comes or directly from the General Practitioner.
Within 24 hours this request will be evaluated by a Level II Medical Director which, in accordance with diagnostic-therapeutic-rehabilitative protocols and taking into account the indications provided by the regional resolutions, defines theappropriateness.
The outcome of the request is subsequently communicated by Hospital Admissions Service atOperational Unit of origin or directly to the assisted person.
Inside the clinic there is aSocial worker which, at the express request of the Specialized doctor, is responsible for finding a place for the patient who is being discharged and is not yet self-sufficient suitable accommodation in a social health facility.
The temporary stay in this facility will allow the discharged person to complete the Rehabilitation Plan for returning to one's home.
For the request for hospitalization the forms can be collected from the Hospitalization Acceptance Service, downloaded from the site or can be requested to be sent by email to the address: ricoveridezza@casadicuraigea.it
Hospitalization under private practice
At the clinic it is possible to carry out the following types of hospitalizations under a self-paying regime:
- choice of doctor or the 'healthcare team, with payment by the patient of the freelance compensation relating to medical assistance and costs related to staying in paid rooms (insolvency hospitalization)
- paying only the cost of the stay in the paid room (hotel difference)
Insurance Agreements
The IGEA Nursing Home, despite being accredited with the National Health Service, offers the possibility of hospitalization, both in ordinary hospitalization that of Day Hospitalin solvency regime or agreement with the major insurance companies.
Visiting Hours
Visits by relatives to patients are permitted during the following times:
From Monday to Saturday
17:00 am - 20:00 am
Sunday and Holidays
14:30 am - 20:00 am

Documentation required for hospitalization
The documentation required for patient admission includes:
- identity card valid
- the ATS health card valid
- hospitalization prescription
- eventual medical documentation services
- eventual identification card of the insurance institution (only for hospitalizations under a self-paying regime)
It is important that the person being assisted brings with him/her the clinical documents in his possession:
- radiographs
- laboratory reports and other investigations
- medical reports o medical records of previous hospitalizations (which will be returned upon discharge)

- Delegation to request for collection of a copy of a medical record or health documentation
- Request for Duplicate Outpatient Services (excluding MAC and BOCA)
Valuables custody
Casa di Cura IGEA is not responsible for the theft or loss of money and valuables.
It is therefore advisable not to wear or keep jewellery, precious objects, large sums of money or electronic equipment.
