The Orthopedics and Traumatology Unit is a cutting-edge department specializing in the treatment of major orthopedic conditions. It employs highly specialized orthopedic surgeons specializing in surgical techniques for each individual joint area. An outpatient service is also available 7 days a week.

The patient is followed throughout his journey from the clinical and instrumental diagnosis up to the surgical intervention with the consequent post-operative course and the setting up of the correct rehabilitation program.

Arthroscopic surgery

Arthroscopy allows for a precise and tangible assessment of intra-articular components while causing minimal soft tissue trauma, less mobility, fewer postoperative complications, and faster rehabilitation than open procedures.

This approach is essential in the treatment of traumatic injuries in athletes and degenerative injuries in individuals over 50. Arthroscopy is indicated for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

Prosthetic surgery

Prosthetic surgery is used in the treatment of degenerative diseases (which affect the majority of the population over 60) and post-traumatic diseases (road accidents, accidental falls, etc.).
